CFUW Kincardine Open House September 20

CFUW Kincardine held an Open House and Membership Drive on Tuesday, September 20 at the local Walker House Museum.   Many interested women came to hear about CFUW as an organization, Ontario Council, and the great efforts and programs of the local club.

The outgoing president, Sandy Thomson, along with other members of the Executive Team, were very pleased with the turnout and 10 new members signed up!  It was the first time in many years (CFUW Kincardine celebrating 30 years in 2021) held this kind of event.  The current members brought appetizers and the club offered a libation to individuals – compliments of the club.  “It was our way of saying thank you to our existing members for their support and contributions over the years and a nice welcome to potential members.”

Many of the guests were recipients of the door prizes – assembled by Linda, outgoing treasurer, and comprised of CFUW merchandise!  A great way to advertise!

The new executive team of Jane, president, Anne, treasurer, and returning secretary, Cheryl, were acclaimed for the 2022-23 year.

A very successful event!
