UWC North York

Working alongside Fangdong Li, a York University intern, the UWCNY redesigned their website. New and returning members can now complete membership forms online. A group of dedicated women spent the last three months working on this project which will allow individual members to access information more easily, safely and securely. Check out the club’s new website here! 

CFUW Orillia

The Guess Who? Game was created for CFUW Orillia to celebrate International Women’s Day, March 8, 2020. Initially created as a card game by two club members for a women’s luncheon, it then evolved into a video to share with the club at a general meeting. CFUW Southport COVID 19 Challenge

Canadian Federation of University Women Southport has been involved in the Rotary Huron Shore Run for years. “This year the need to raise funds for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation couldn’t be greater”, says team captain Heather Conlin.CFUW Southport took on the Rotary Shore Run COVID 19 challenge. Twenty seven women did a variety of 19 activities for 19 days. The activities ranged from walking, hiking, ping pong, swimming laps, golfing, cycling, gardening, work outs, shooting hoops, kayaking to 19 acts of kindness over 19 days. Southport raised $3245.00 to take first place in the team category! “This is the greatest amount of money we have ever raised for the hospital foundation! Our team took on the challenge with great gusto and are thrilled with the result!”
