CFUW Belleville’s 2019 Garden Tour Committee met for a celebratory lunch hosted by Martha Griffin and Carol Sayeau. We shared feedback from guests, gardeners and volunteers, hearing that participants found the Tour well organized, the Club members friendly and the day a fun experience. With the help of our members’ help, we hosted another successful Tour. Linda Connelly, Committee Treasurer, presented a cheque in the amount of $16,000 to Evelyn Neumann, the in-coming VP Scholarships. Many local students will benefit from our efforts next May, when our Scholarship Committee awards our 2020 scholarships.

CFUW Kincardine took advantage of the last market day in the park distributing “Grandma Just Asked Me to Vote” campaign cards and encouraging all to just vote! Many of the folks thanked Cheryl Taylor (left) and Linda Pratt for the great reminder and messaging!
