Working with CFUW Ontario Council, CFUW Southport wrote to express support for the proposed amendments to Ontario Regulation 79/10 under the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007 (LTCHA).

The club’s Issues Group reviewed and discussed the proposed legislative changes, related research materials, and met with staff and families affiliated with local long-term care facilities. With the approval of the Ontario Council Advocacy Chair and President, they sent the attached letter to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Long-Term Care Homes Division.
