As part of Bill 57, the Ontario budget implementation bill, the Child Advocate Office was closed, and transferred to the Ombudsman Office.  Ontario Council sent letters to the Premier, Minister of Children, Community and Social Services Lisa MacLeod and Minister of Finance Victor Fedeli opposing this.

As well, President Sandy Thomson requested club action.  Thank you to the clubs who did respond.
