CFUW Ontario Council Standing Committees

Committees are an important element of a board’s governance processes that aid it in the fulfillment of its governance role. The general rule is that a board establishes the committees that it requires to assist with the work of the board.

The CFUW Ontario Council Board of Directors has implemented eight (8) Board Standing Committees.  (A Standing Committee is constituted to perform a continuous function.)  CFUW Ontario Council has the following Standing Committees:  Advocacy; Articles and Bylaws; Education; Finance; Governance; Legislation; Resolutions; Status of Women and Human Rights.  Click on the links below to view the Terms of Reference for each of the OC Standing Committees.

We are always looking for enthusiastic club members to support our goals! If you would like to become a member of one of the OC Standing Committees, please complete and submit an Expression of Interest for OC Standing Committees form.

Or contact the Ontario Council President for more information.
