Bill 148 – Fair Workplace, Better Jobs Act 2017

On June 1, 2017, Ontario introduced legislation today to create more opportunity and security for workers through its plan for Fair Workplaces and Better Jobs, including hiking the minimum wage, ensuring part-time workers are paid the same hourly wage as full-time workers, introducing paid sick days for every worker and stepping up enforcement of employment laws.
